About the artist
Artist, writer and founder of the “Look Inside” network of art studios. Her work has been shown at exhibitions around the world — in Berlin, Venice, Dubai, Beijing, Paris, Baku, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Moscow.
Darya developed a new style in art — sculptural painting from clothing. She is also the author of a performance in which paintings are created with closed eyes: the hand remembers what the eye does not see.
Philosophy
Darya’s philosophy is to invite everyone to follow the path of the heart through full acceptance of oneself and others, to break frames and stereotypes, and to bring more meaning and depth back into contemporary art.
Darya overcame stage four cancer. After her recovery she found a new way of seeing the world and new inspiration — this is how her paintings and her signature style, sculptural painting from clothing, were born. Works in this genre reflect a new philosophy: how ordinary things can be transformed into something wondrous and beautiful.
